There’s no evidence this Mitch McConnell photo is AI-generated

A photo shared by US Senator Mitch McConnell showing him alive and recovering after a fall has led to widespread speculation about its authenticity, with some claiming without evidence it is AI-generated.

The 84 year-old Republican recently revealed he had been hospitalised after suffering a fall and contracting mild pneumonia.

It followed questions over his health after he hadn’t been seen in public for weeks.
