In 9/11 remarks, Trump links war with Iran

US President Donald Trump has said “the Islamic Republic of Iran will never, ever have a nuclear weapon” during his speech in the ceremony to mark the 25th anniversary of 9/11.

At the Pentagon, Trump praised members of the military and highlighted how their work is continuing with the war in Iran.

“For 25 years, our best and bravest have kept America safe – and today we salute every member of the United States military who served in the war on terror”, Trump said.
